Abstract

Petitions, minutes, resolutions, records of votes and warrants associated with town meetings; together with county and state warrants interfiled chronologically. Petitions concern gun house; powder house; dog tax; library; armory; Company G, 8th Regiment, Massachusetts Volunteer Militia; Goose Cove dam, 1864 fire; school truants; and railroad bridge draw. Concluding papers include warrant to vote on city charter, results of elections in all eight wards, and boundary lines for all eight wards.
